Quaint place that takes you back in time. Excellent service, friendly people. Had a taco salad that was delicious with homemade chili. Would definitely go back.

Great hometown cooking and large portions with amazing desserts

I love this place! Good meals at a great price! I've had breakfast and dinner here. Sometimes it can be a bit crowded, and sometimes you have to wait, but if you don't want that, McDonalds is next door. It's worth the wait.

The best place in North East Ohio for breakfast. One of the best for lunch or dinner. The food is made to order and takes a little while to come out, but worth the wait. I think it’s better than the cafe down the street. Nancy’s is a classic.

Oh my!! I am at a loss of words. I discovered Nancy's while on the Lorain County ice cream trail, and man I wish I knew about it sooner. Not only is this place ADORABLE, the food was fantastic! I ate my burger and sidewinder fries too quickly to even get a picture. Our waitress, Mary Jo, was such a sweetie and showed us a good time! She gave us some amazing suggestions for dessert and we could not be happier. To top it all off, servings are very generous so you won't be leaving hungry!

Pretty fantastic! Very clean diner, affordable food, and generous portions. Our service started out exceptional, and then it got a little slow. Still a great experience. We'll certainly be back if we're ever in the area.

The food was so good and we couldn’t finish because it was as big as it was. Delicious! We also met Denise the owner and she gave us a hug!

Went this past weekend. I’ve not been to place where the servers tell the guest how small the grill is and it will be about a hour for breakfast. That’s a first. Well my omelet took almost a hour to the min. Pops and I sat there for a hour. Reading their signs about the wait, listening to the server explain to guest after guest. Our server, shorter younger girl who talked to a table behind us about how much she dislikes the owner who I guess is the cook? They were busy I’ll say that. My omelet was cold. My fathers so hot he couldn’t eat. No flavor over all.

Would give zero stars if I could. Staff is extremely unpleasant and should be grateful people pay money for trash. Food was cold? Never eating there again.

Great Food, Fast service

My Husband and I enjoyed Country Fried Steak at Nancy's this morning, compliments from our friend in New York for my Birthday!They have great Breakfasts as well as other homestyle meals. I wish I knew our Server's name, as she was fantastic, a definite asset to Nancy's! We love coming here, great Diner atmosphere, very clean, good food, large portions, excellent Service!! We will be back soon! Thanks again to our very courteous and efficient Server and to our Friend, Craig, in New York!!

Great food!!!!!!The best food in Lorain County.Denise is the owner/chef and is a perfectionist...making this a very successful business.If you don't mind waiting, a little patience makes the wonderful food worth it.Bacon gravy (when available) is one of my personal favorites.Hard to find a "made from scratch" diner these days....and that includes the desserts!

One of the best places around. But if you're in a hurry don't go there. Why you ask. Because everything is made from scratch. And you can't rush home made deliciousness! Great burgers. Scrumptious soups. Home made bread and pies, And pancakes the size of a hubcap! Not to mention great service and a very retro decor!

So this was my first time here, but my girlfriend had been here plenty of times before. The prices aren't too bad for some items, but there are some very over priced items on the menu. I bought the big dog burger and it was alright, the secret sauce resembled tarter sauce and it barely had any. Aside from us, there were maybe 3 other tables and yet it took a VERY long time to get our food. The waitresses were standing near us, but we had to ask for coffee. The atmosphere was quite uncomfortable. This place is definitely just for locals.

This full service restaurant is built and furnished in the traditional diner style and has both booth and counter seating. Very comfortable atmosphere and especially friendly staff. Only had time for coffee on this visit, but plan to return soon for lunch or dinner. Several of my friends recommend it highly.

Excellent Food, Nicest Staff, and the cutest little dinner ever!

I love this place. My wife and I come out here from Brookpark. There’s just no place better and trust me we try EVERY RESTAURANT. It’s cozy, the coffee is always fresh, food is to die for, and we feel welcome & comfortable here. Definitely worth every trip!

Very Great Breakfast And Friendly Service ALSO

After twice getting takeout, and twice the order was wrong. Having to go back up there. Then dealing with attitudes of server is ridiculous. Another guy also was there getting his order fixed. The prices have gone way up as well. I’ll stick with Rubins in Elyria.

First time customers on busy Saturday morning. Wonderful experience. Everyone was nice, so busy we and our kids shared a 6 top with another couple. Regulars and very nice.There is a reason the breakfast sandwiches take a whole page, they're delicious! Everything was impressive, short stack of pancakes on the side.. Wow. And both kids inhaled their biscuits and gravy.

A great place for breakfast and lunch

Great staff always happy to see you. I don't know why, numerous times I wandered on in drenched in yard garbage and gasoline and they were all still chipper. That's either professionalism or delusion, and I'm inclined to believe the former. Neat old timey fifties era decor, chrome everything and home made pies. This place has great liver. I do not eat liver, not at gunpoint. I'll have it here. They also have amazing burgers, one too big to eat, even. I don't go as often as I should.

All around great food. You will taste the love that goes into what they do. Home made hot sauce unbelievable, home made pies that gives grandma a run, chicken n bean soup best I have had. Keep doing what your doing. Best restaurant in a 30 mile radius 😁hands down . If your arpund town stop in.

I love the old fashioned feel of this diner. The workers are welcoming and the food is authentic and amazing to eat especially in the morning. There are many pictures on the walls that will spark good conversations with you and friends or even random people.

The food was absolutely delicious. I had the roast beef bowl and a side of homemade Cole slaw. It definitely hit the spot. The roast beef was VERY tender and the service was excellent! Can't wait to return again!

After coming here for years. After today, Saturday morning I’m done. First off I’m tired of hearing how small the grill is and it will take a hour to get eggs and bacon. Ridiculous. The servers are trained to make sure they tell every table. There’s signs posted that the food will take a hour. I’m not waiting a hour for eggs.

After going here for years I won’t be back. The snobby attitude of the server. Some young girl who is so dismissive. This place is not friendly. They never really were. The food is ok. Waiting a hour every single time is insane. The signs up about the wait? Tired of looking at them. Funny as I’m pulling out they have a sign up saying they will tow people? Nice. Friendly people here.

This is a wonderful little place! The food is outstanding, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is relaxing but most importantly it is extremely easy on the pocketbook! When we visit mom in Grafton we like to take her here. She can actually hear us in this place which is very difficult for her and everyone treats each other with respect. Good food, good atmosphere, great cost! Go see for yourself!
